Communities form the social fabric of CREO and are designed around purpose, trust, and governance rather than engagement metrics. CREO distinguishes between Clans and Guilds to better reflect real-world collaboration patterns.

Clans are socially oriented groups focused on discussion and shared interests, while Guilds are structured, invite-only collectives centered on execution, projects, or infrastructure. Communities can support one another through backing, recruitment, and shared initiatives.

Governance is decentralized, empowering community leaders while maintaining platform-wide safety and accountability.

Key Highlights

  • Clans: Social interaction with public or invite-only access
  • Guilds: Structured collaboration centered around platform activity
  • Mutual backing: Voluntary support between Clans and Guilds
  • Hiring & Recruiting: Clans can hire Guilds; Guilds can recruit Clans
